Our Story

NPOC Wellness & Hydration was born from a simple yet powerful belief: wellness should be both medically sound and deeply rejuvenating.

After more than a decade in healthcare, our founders saw a gap—too many wellness solutions were either overly clinical and impersonal, or trendy but lacking real science. People were left choosing between sterile care that felt cold or “wellness fads” that lacked credibility.

With NPOC, we set out to create something different: a space where medical expertise meets luxury wellness. Every service—from IV hydration and advanced wellness therapy to weight management and vitamin injections—is designed and supervised by board-certified nurse practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of safety, personalization, and effectiveness.

But beyond protocols and treatments, NPOC is about how we make people feel. From the moment clients walk in—or connect virtually—they are welcomed, cared for, and guided. They leave not only feeling physically renewed, but also supported in their journey toward long-term vitality.

Our Founders

Kelvinda Kamara,
FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC - Maryland NP License

Founder & CEO, NPOC Wellness & Hydration

Kelvinda Kamara is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in healthcare and mental health. She is the founder of NPOC Wellness & Hydration, offering integrative care through IV hydration, advanced wellness therapy, weight management, and holistic wellness.

Alongside her husband, Ike Obiora, she co-owns K&I Healthcare Services, serving Maryland communities with compassionate, evidence-based primary and mental healthcare. She also leads Elevate Wellness HQ by K&I, merging traditional care with lifestyle medicine and expanding wellness access nationwide.

A dedicated community leader, Kelvinda co-chairs the Health and Wellness Committee at the Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce and continues to innovate through her upcoming Mindful Threads scrub line and wellness podcast.

Ikechukwu “Ike” Obiora, MSN, CNL, CRNP, PMHNP-BC

Co-Founder & CEO, K&I Healthcare Services, LLC | Co-CEO, Nurse Practitioner On Call, LLC

Ike Obiora is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, healthcare entrepreneur, and visionary leader with over a decade of experience in mental health, substance abuse, and telehealth. As Co-Founder and CEO of K&I Healthcare Services and Co-CEO of Nurse Practitioner On Call, he has built multi-site behavioral health programs serving Maryland communities with integrity and innovation.

Driven by equity and excellence, Ike has expanded outpatient services in psychotherapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, and substance use treatment, ensuring CARF and COMAR compliance. He also leads wellness initiatives including Elevate by K&I, NPOC Wellness & Hydration, and Uplifting Wellness, creating a connected ecosystem of care.

Passionate about impact, Ike champions whole-person healing, mental health advocacy, and technology-driven, scalable healthcare solutions.

Liz Barile

Infusion Nurse

Liz is a registered nurse who is passionate about supporting wellness of the mind and body. She has a background in emergency medicine and extensive vascular access experience. Her goal is to help you feel your best— she is here to answer your questions, guide you through your wellness journey, and make sure your experience is safe, comfortable, and personalized. Outside of work, she spends most of her time outdoors hiking, skiing, and traveling.

Emily Raulie

IV Infusion Nurse

Emily is a registered nurse with 5 years of experience. She began her career in neuro/stroke care and later transitioned to outpatient endoscopy, where she sharpened her IV skills. She’s dedicated to providing comfortable, patient-focused infusion and hydration therapy. Outside of work, Emily enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her loved one
